United by the Power of Science
Frontiers in Medicine 2021 has been a Stanford Medicine virtual event honoring the transformative power of science. As COVID-19 continues to show us, the need for thorough, science-grounded medical research to guide health care is more critical than ever. While we couldn't be together in person this year, we remain united by our belief in the promise and hope that science brings to humanity and the incredible optimism and strength of our diverse community.
Audiences heard from leaders across our institutions—including David Entwistle, president and CEO of Stanford Health Care, and Stanford School of Medicine Dean Lloyd Minor, MD, who joined Condoleezza Rice for a special musical performance of Robert Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces, Opus 73.
